The Wharton Global Family Alliance is the Wharton School's research initiative for family business, private wealth management, and private philanthropy. Wharton GFA's mission is to create groundbreaking knowledge at a high standard of scholarship that can have positive real-world impact. Wharton GFA focuses its research in key issues affecting family businesses, combining two highly credible and complementary sources of insight - practical expertise of highly successful global families and rigorous scholarly analysis from Wharton faculty.
